Start your tour by learning about the history of the monastery (certosa) of San Martino and its transformation into a Neapolitan civic museum (1 h 15 min indoor guided tour).
Continue your tour by urban trekking (please, wear hiking shoes!!!) through the ancient route of the Pedamentina. The Pedamentina boasts 414 steps and dates back to the 14th century.
